CLARK COUNTY, WA — The Basketball League (TBL) is proud to announce the official addition of the Clark County Trash Pandas as a new professional basketball franchise set to begin competition in the 2027 season. Representing one of Washington State’s fastest-growing and most dynamic regions, the Trash Pandas will bring high-level professional basketball, structured community engagement, and regional pride to Southwest Washington.
Rooted in the heart of Clark County—home to Vancouver and a vital part of the greater Portland metropolitan area—the Trash Pandas were founded with a clear and disciplined mission: to represent the region with professionalism, integrity, and competitive excellence. The organization is committed to building a winning culture both on and off the court, emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and measurable community impact throughout the county’s diverse cities and neighborhoods.
“We are excited to welcome the Clark County Trash Pandas to The Basketball League,” said Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League. “Clark County is a strong and growing market with a deep sense of community identity. The Trash Pandas organization reflects TBL’s core values—professional standards, community engagement, and a commitment to sustainable growth. We believe this franchise will quickly establish itself as a cornerstone in Southwest Washington.”
As part of TBL’s continued national expansion, the Trash Pandas will deliver a compelling combination of high-energy professional basketball and year-round outreach initiatives. In addition to hosting competitive home games, the organization plans to implement youth clinics, school partnerships, mentorship programs, and local business collaborations designed to create long-term impact beyond game day.
“We are proud to bring professional basketball to Clark County,” said the Trash Pandas ownership group. “This organization is built to compete at a high level while serving as a positive force in our community. From Vancouver to Camas, Washougal to Battle Ground, and throughout the county, we intend to represent Southwest Washington with discipline, pride, and purpose.”
Additional announcements regarding coaching staff, player signings, venue details, and official merchandise will be released in the months ahead. With preparation underway for the 2027 season, the Clark County Trash Pandas are positioned to make a strong and lasting impact as the newest member of The Basketball League.
